EMTec provided mechanical systems design including construction administration for this Design/Built office structure of approximately 360,000 Sq. Ft., four-building complex.
This Design/Built project for the United States Department of Agriculture involved the preparation of construction documents, including complete Fire Protection system for a four-building complex in Beltsville, Maryland just outside Washington, D.C. Specifications provided were based on GSA/M/E supplement to AIA master specs. Energy conservation and life cycle cost analysis were a prime factor in the design of this new Federal Building. The total construction cost was an estimated $36 million.
