EMTec investigated and verified the existing conditions and utility capabilities to allow for the accurate integration of all systems for the 57,000 sq. ft. addition consisting of a bookstore, student services, classrooms, conference rooms, food court and dining area.

The design included a completely new fire alarm system and integrations into the existing complex system as well as HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, power distribution, telephone, data and communications.  The fire protection engineering services included a complete sprinkler with new fire main and capacity for future expansion.

EMTec developed the construction documents; cost control which included approval of payment requisitions; contract administration such as review of shop drawings, approval of change orders and as-builts draings.
